Digital Product Sales Are Final
EvoPatterns sells digital pattern files which are delivered immediately upon purchase. Because these are intangible goods that cannot be returned, all sales are generally final once a pattern file has been downloaded. We strongly encourage customers to review product details (vehicle make/model/year, pattern type, etc.) carefully before completing a purchase. If you have any questions about a product, feel free to contact us before buying – we’re happy to help clarify information to ensure you get what you need.
Exceptions & Remedies
While our default stance is no refunds, we do stand by the quality of our products. In certain exceptional situations, we will work with you to find a fair solution. EvoPatterns may provide replacements, credits, or refunds at our discretion under the following circumstances:
- File Error or Corruption: If the pattern file you purchased is defective (for example, the file is corrupted, won’t open in any supported software, or a clear technical glitch is present), please notify us within 7 days of purchase. We will verify the issue and, if confirmed, supply you with a corrected file. If we’re unable to fix the file in a reasonable time frame, we may issue a refund for that item.
- Wrong Item Delivered: In the rare case that you receive a file that is not what you ordered (e.g., you purchased a 2022 Ford F-150 pattern but the download was a 2021 model or a different vehicle entirely), contact us right away. We will provide the correct file as soon as possible. If the correct file is not available or an error in our catalog led to a misleading purchase, we will offer a refund or credit.
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchase the same pattern file twice (or purchase a bundle that includes a file you previously bought separately), let us know. After verifying the duplicate purchase in our system, we can offer a credit for a future purchase or a refund of the duplicate charge.
- Unsatisfactory Outcome Due to Pattern Issue: If you believe there is a significant flaw in the pattern itself that made it unusable (despite correct usage and installation techniques), please reach out to our support team. We may request photos or details of the issue to understand what went wrong. In many cases, we’ll work to correct the pattern and provide you an updated file. While not a typical “refund,” this ensures you get a functional product. If the pattern was fundamentally unusable and we cannot provide a proper fix, a refund may be considered.
How to Request a Resolution
To request a replacement, credit, or refund, please contact us at support@evopatterns.com with the following details:
- Your order number and purchase date.
- The email address associated with your account (if different from the email you’re using to contact us).
- The pattern file(s) in question and a description of the issue. (Screenshots, error messages, or photos are very helpful if applicable.)
Our team will review your request, typically within 1-2 business days. If we need more information, we’ll reach out. Otherwise, we’ll let you know the resolution (e.g., sending a corrected file or processing a refund) as quickly as possible.
Important Notes:
- Download Monitoring: We track downloads of purchased files. If a file has been downloaded and accessed, it confirms delivery of the digital product. This doesn’t disqualify you from an exception (e.g., file error) but note that claims of non-delivery are easily verified by our system logs.
- Change of Mind: Because products are digital and instantly usable, we do not issue refunds for change-of-mind or if you decide the pattern is no longer needed. Please be certain of your purchase before downloading. Our Free Pattern page is a great way to test compatibility or quality if you’re unsure.
- Unauthorized Use: If we detect abuse of the refund policy (such as purchasing patterns, downloading them, and then requesting refunds under false pretenses repeatedly), we reserve the right to refuse refunds, revoke download access, and/or terminate the offending account. We appreciate your honesty and understanding that this policy is in place to protect the value of our digital products.
- Subscription Cancellation: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time to prevent the next billing cycle. However, we do not offer prorated refunds for a subscription period that’s already in progress. You will retain access for the remainder of the paid term after cancellation. (If a billing mistake occurs or there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us – we will review on a case-by-case basis.)
Our goal is to be fair and reasonable. We want you to be happy with your purchase and the service you receive. While we must enforce a strict policy due to the nature of digital goods, we will always try to assist you if something doesn’t go as expected. Your business and satisfaction are important to us.
